Three police officers from J&K deputed to serve in the Union Territory of Ladakh

Jammu, Sept 16: The Lieutenant Governor administration of Jammu and Kashmir has deputed three police officers to the Union Territory of Ladakh, officials said today.

Names of Officers Deputed

According to an official order, the officers placed at the disposal of Ladakh include:

  • DySP Faraz Hussain Shah
  • DySP Adil Mushtaq Sheikh
  • Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary, brother of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary

Tenure and Terms

The deputation will be for a period of two years or until the officers are recalled by the J&K administration. Their lien and promotion prospects will remain with the Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir, the order stated.

Incentives and Relief

The officers will also be entitled to any incentives announced by the UT of Ladakh for deputed personnel. They have been deemed relieved with immediate effect and directed to report for duty in Ladakh.
