Mumbai, Sept 16: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, has appealed to the people of Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra to visit Ladakh and experience its unmatched natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality. Drawing inspiration from the famous Gujarat tourism campaign, Gupta said, “Just as Amitabh Bachchan once said, ‘Kuch Din Toh Guzariye Gujarat Mein,’ I say today — ‘Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein.’”
He described Ladakh as more than a tourist destination, calling it “an experience that stays with every visitor.” He added, “Whichever direction you travel in Ladakh, you will find a new horizon, a new charm, and a new story waiting to be discovered.”
Development Under PM Modi
Highlighting the rapid transformation of the Union Territory, the LG said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ladakh has seen unprecedented infrastructural growth. “From Leh, one can now travel nearly 200 km deep, right up to our borders with Pakistan, on world-class roads. In many cases, the quality of these roads even surpasses those of metropolitan states like Maharashtra,” he remarked.
He stressed that Ladakh’s development reflects the Central Government’s commitment to last-mile connectivity and inclusivity. “Our mission is clear — to serve Bharat Mata with complete devotion and to strengthen the fabric of national unity,” he said.
