Crown Worldwide Group inaugurates third warehousing facility in Bengaluru

BENGALURU, Sept 24: Global logistics and records management firm Crown Worldwide Group on Wednesday inaugurated its third warehousing facility in India, a 76,000 sq ft green-certified infrastructure located in Bengaluru.

The facility was opened in the presence of the company’s top leadership, including Jim Thompson (Founder & Chairman), Jennifer Harvey (Group CEO), and Srinivas Krishnan (Managing Director – South). It comes as part of Crown’s ongoing global expansion strategy and coincides with the Group’s 60th anniversary.

Equipped with scalable infrastructure, the new site will provide custom bonded warehousing, temperature-controlled wine and spirit storage, cold storage chambers for healthcare products, and Crown Fine Art’s secure climate-controlled storage for artworks and cultural treasures.

Highlighting India’s growing importance, Harvey said: “India is one of the fastest-growing markets for our clients and for Crown. This new facility positions us to provide next-generation physical storage and digital information management solutions to customers in this thriving region.”

The facility dedicates over 57,000 sq ft to information management, with multi-tier racks capable of storing more than 900,000 cartons. India now contributes around 10% of Crown’s global revenue and ranks among its top five markets.

Srinivas Krishnan called the Bengaluru warehouse a strategic step forward in Crown’s India network, adding that it “strengthens our presence and reflects the long-term importance of India in Crown’s global growth story.”
