MENDHAR, Sept 24: At least five army personnel were injured after their vehicle (JK02 AW 1387) overturned in Mendhar sub-division of Poonch district on Wednesday morning.
Officials said the soldiers, posted in the Balnoi area near the Line of Control, were on their way home on leave when the accident occurred at Ghani village in Mankote sector around 7:20 am.
The injured jawans were immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar for treatment. Doctors confirmed that all of them sustained minor injuries and are currently out of danger.
