In a letter to the Lieutenant Governor, Sharma highlighted the serious difficulties faced by aspirants and students across the Union Territory. He stressed that frequent landslides, cloudbursts, and road blockages have left large areas disconnected, making it extremely challenging for students to reach exam centres.
Connectivity & Internet Issues Raised
The Opposition leader also pointed out that poor internet services in many regions are preventing aspirants from downloading admit cards and accessing study material. The digital divide, combined with recent natural disruptions, has placed students from remote and flood-affected areas at a clear disadvantage, he said.
Appeal for Fair Opportunity
Expressing concern for the hardships faced by the student community, Sharma urged the LG to intervene and direct the JKPSC to postpone the examinations until conditions improve. “All aspirants should be given a fair and equal opportunity to appear in these competitive exams,” he emphasized.
