Alternative Travel Amid Road Closure
The service comes in response to passenger inconvenience after heavy rains and waterlogging disrupted traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway. Earlier, a special local train between Katra and Sangaldan was introduced on September 8 to facilitate stranded commuters.
