Apple growers in Kashmir have reported a record-breaking harvest this year. Horticulture officials estimate that over 22 lakh metric tonnes of apples were produced, making 2025 one of the most successful seasons in recent years.
Farmers attribute the success to favorable weather conditions and improved government support schemes. With growing demand in domestic and international markets, apple exports from Kashmir are expected to boost the region’s economy.
