The Jammu Smart City Project, launched with the aim of modernizing city infrastructure, has achieved several key milestones this year. Officials announced that new smart bus stops, modern street lighting, and integrated traffic management systems are being installed across the city.
Additionally, a centralized command-and-control center has been made operational, enabling real-time monitoring of traffic, water supply, and public safety. The project is expected to be completed in phases by 2026, significantly improving the quality of life for Jammu residents.
