Itanagar / Jammu, Sept 6: Pramod Jain, a retired senior IAS officer from the Jammu and Kashmir cadre, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC). The appointment is currently under active review at the Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi. (“A son of the soil,” Jain has held key roles including Chairman of the J&K Water Resources Regulatory Authority, heading the New Districts Committee in Ladakh UT, and advising on creation of five new districts in Ladakh.)
