BARAMULLA, Sept 26: A man from North Kashmir’s Baramulla district was critically injured in a road accident at Hartang Pattan on Friday morning when his scooter collided after a stray dog suddenly came in front of it.

Syed Irfan, 34, was critically injured in a road mishap at Hartang Pattan, Baramulla.
Police and hospital sources identified the injured as Syed Irfan (34), son of Syed Maqbool, a resident of Balihara Pattan. He was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for advanced treatment.
Doctors at JVC Hospital confirmed that Irfan suffered serious head trauma and his condition is stated to be critical.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when Irfan was riding his scooter near Hartang Pattan and a stray dog suddenly appeared, causing him to lose balance and fall severely. Passersby rushed to the spot and arranged for his evacuation to the hospital.
