The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway faced devastation on Friday night when a sudden cloudburst in Ramban district and a major landslide in Reasi claimed the lives of at least 11 people, including several children.
Rescue teams of SDRF, NDRF, and police have been deployed, while the BRO (Border Roads Organisation) is clearing the debris. Authorities have urged travelers to follow advisories as the risk of shooting stones remains high.
