Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launches the LGSSK portal to strengthen soldier welfare and grievance redressal.

The portal – lgssk.jk.gov.in – has been developed by BISAG-N and serves as a digital support tool for the Kendra, enabling grievance logging, action tracking, and transparency in case follow-up. It ensures that every case is recorded, monitored, and resolved within a set timeframe.

Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor said that the LGSSK acts as a bridge between serving personnel and the civil administration. “This initiative assures soldiers that their families’ issues will be addressed swiftly and systematically while they continue to serve the nation with dedication,” he said.

The Kendra will function as a single-window facilitation centre with offices at the Civil Secretariats in Jammu and Srinagar, catering to all serving personnel belonging to J&K as well as those deployed in the Union Territory. It will coordinate directly with government departments and monitor progress until final resolution.

Prasanna Ramaswamy G, Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department, and In-charge LGSSK, presented a detailed overview of the initiative under the supervision of the J&K Home Department, highlighting its potential to ensure structured and transparent soldier welfare facilitation.
